Shelter
Rock is a safe, peaceful, informative, fun and
adventure destination for
tourists, day visitors, corporations and schools.
The
Shelter Rock is a landmark on the southern slopes of the Magaliesberg.
The
200 hectare
farm has been in the Botha family since 1980 and is situated
in the
Magaliesberg Natural Protected Area and in
the Hartebeestfontein
Conservancy.

Shelter
Rock is situated on the southern slope of the Magaliesberg
approximately half way between the Hartebeestpoort dam and
Magaliesburg and near Maropeng. It
less than an hour from Pretoria and Sandton and is

Base
Camp
Base
Camp is the
operational center for the Via Ferrata, Abseil, Mountain Trail,
Knobkierie
Golf, Bachelor Parties, Team Building, Adventure camps and accommodation.
Reception is located at Base Camp. Shelter Rock is fully
licensed.
