Shelter Rock is the ideal venue for your once in a lifetime bachelor or bachelorette party.



We offer an unforgettable experience which includes climbing the Via Ferrata, double pitch abseil, dinner for the hungry, overnight accommodation in the Mountain Lodge and breakfast the following morning.

Bachelor Party:

Our basic 24 hour package includes:
1    Arrival and registration 10h00
2    Cofffee, tea and muffins.
3    Event briefing in lecture room.
4    Climbing the via ferrata to the top of the Magaliesberg. 
5    Explore the Boer war fort on the summit and enjoy the views from the top.
6    Do the double double pitch 100 meter abseil down the cliff face
7    Return to the Mountain Lodge and relax in our country jacuzzi
8    Chill in the Boma and enjoy the sunset.
9    Enjoy a braai in the  Boma.
10   Chill around the campfire till late
11   Crawl into your bed in the Mountain Lodge for a well earned sleep.
12  Wake up for a hearty breakfast before departure at 10h00.

Accommodation and dinner for the preceding night can also be provided in the Mountain Lodge by prior arrangement.

Included:
1    Coffee, tea and muffins on arrival
2    Instructors and gear for the Via Ferrata and Double Abseil
3    Refreshments for the Via Ferrata and Abseil
4    Transport to and return from drop off point for Via Ferrata
5    Dinner: 500gram T-Bone or Chicken Sosatie (100gram), Boere Wors (200 gram) and       Sirloin Steak (200 gram). (Selected at time of booking), pap, tomato and onion       sauce, country bread, one salad and home made baked pudding.
7    Wood for camp fire
8    Breakfast before departure.
9    Bedding, towel and hot showers.

Bring:
1    Own toiletries.
2    Sunscreen
3    Loose fitting trousers for the Via Ferrata and Abseil.
4    Swimming costume for Jacuzzi
5    Babbelas repair kit.
6    Warm clothing for the evening around the campfire.
7    Liquor and mixers

Payments
1    50% Non refundable deposit within 7 days to secure booking. Balance 14 days before event.
2    R1 000 breakage and no smoking in rooms deposit (Refundable if no damage)

Numbers:
1    Minimum of 10 overnight
2    Day Passes and previous overnight requirements to be arranged at time of booking

This package is also available without the abseil and via ferrata component. Arrival from 14h00.

NB: as we are inside a conservancy, the Magaliesberg Natural Protected area and have game on the property we cannot allow very loud music.
