Booking Conditions
These Booking Terms and Conditions contain important information about participation by you and members of your party and accordingly you acknowledge and agree that all members of your party are aware of and accept these Booking Terms and Conditions
1      General
1.1        No variation of these Booking Terms and Conditions will be binding unless agreed in writing by Shelter Rock.
1.2        Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in any booking confirmation or other documentation issued by Shelter Rock, (including any electronic documentation) shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of Shelter Rock.
1.3        Shelter Rock reserves the right to make changes to Shelter Rocks Activities whether to conform with any applicable safety or other statutory requirements or otherwise
2      Booking Confirmation
2.1        No booking shall be deemed to have been accepted unless accepted in writing or otherwise confirmed by Shelter Rock or its authorized agents (which shall include e-mail confirmation of booking)
2.2        These Booking Terms and Conditions incorporates the Shelter Rock Indemnity which also includes the rules of conduct. You and each member of your party will be required to sign the Indemnity before being allowed to participate in Shelter Rocks Activities.
2.3        You must advise Shelter Rock as soon as possible of any mistake in any booking confirmation. Shelter Rock will use its best endeavors to ensure that you and your party's participation commences at the time booked and it shall be the responsibility of each participant to ensure that they arrive in sufficient time. Late arrivals may not be permitted to participate and no refunds or compensation will be payable in such circumstances
3      Conditions for participation in Shelter Rock Activities
3.1        Shelter Rocks Activities is physically demanding and challenging but does not require a high level of body strength. All participants in Shelter Rocks Via Ferrata must be reasonably fit and healthy and at least 10 years old. Via Ferrata participants must be a minimum of 1.2 meters  tall and weigh less than 120kg.  Anyone who does not meet these requirements will not be allowed to participate in Shelter Rocks Activities.
3.2        If participants have any medical concerns they are advised to consult their doctor in advance of booking. Participants will be required to certify that they do not suffer from any medical condition which would make it more likely that they would be involved in any incident which could result in injury to themselves or others. Due to the physical nature of Shelter Rocks Activities pregnant women may not participate.
3.3        Participants must be dressed appropriately and Shelter Rock  reserves the right to refuse participation to any participant who is not appropriately dressed. (See rules of conduct - 4.6 clothing restrictions for Via Ferrata)
4      Cancellations
4.1        You shall be entitled to cancel your booking subject to Shelter Rock receiving your request for cancellation at least 72 hours before the booked start time. Any requests for cancellation must be made in person or by telephoning Shelter Rock on  Cell 071 473 6298. You shall be entitled to rebook an alternative date within 12 months of your booking in the event of cancellation under this clause but no refund or compensation shall be payable
4.2        Shelter Rock shall be entitled to cancel your booking at any time.( eg rain or unsafe conditions) In the event that Shelter Rock decides to cancel your booking it shall use its best endeavors to notify you as soon as possible. You shall be entitled to re book an alternative date within 12 months of your booking in the event of cancellation under this clause but no refund or compensation shall be payable
4.3        In the event that it proves necessary to close any of Shelter Rocks Activities for reasons beyond the control of Shelter Rock and in circumstances where you have commenced participation you shall not be entitled to any refund in part or in whole. In such circumstances Shelter Rock may but shall not be obliged to offer alternative dates or times at reduced rates
4.4        No refunds or compensation or postponement will be payable or permitted by Shelter Rock  in the event that any participant is not permitted to or decides not to undertake or complete a Shelter Rocks Activity for any reason set out in the booking conditions, indemnity and rules of conduct.
5      Price and Payment methods
5.1        Payment in full at Shelter Rock current rates shall be due at the time of booking
5.2        Payment must be made to Shelter Rock at Nedbank. Account number will be advised. Clearly state your booking
             date and name as reference on the deposit slip.
6      Liability
6.1        Except as otherwise provided in these Booking Terms and Conditions Shelter Rock shall not be responsible for the loss or damage of or to any property or to any person arising from the booking or participation in Shelter Rocks Activities.
6.2        Parking facilities are available at Shelter Rock and any vehicles are left at the owners risk.
6.3        Except as provided in these Booking Terms and Conditions any liability of Shelter Rock  shall be limited to any charges paid to Shelter Rock
7      Interpretation
7.1        If any term or condition is determined to be illegal invalid or otherwise unenforceable it shall be severed and deleted from these Booking Terms and Conditions and the remaining terms and conditions shall survive and remain in full force and continue to be binding and enforceable
7.2        Nothing above shall confer on any third party any benefit or right to enforce any of these Booking Terms and Conditions
